The Chartered Institute of Finance and Management (CIFMA)

The Chartered Institute of Finance and Management (CIFMA)  created by the school of Business and Finance as an institute of professional excellence under the Higher Institute For Professional Development And Training (HIPDET), is a modern and progressive Qualification Awarding & Professional Membership institute devoted to training a variety of specialists in Cameroon and beyond. Our Membership is comprised of professionals from a broad spectrum of industries, organizations, and academia. Although vastly diverse in our cultures we all share one thing in common: the desire to achieve the very best we can through knowledge and motivation.

HIPDET was established in 2013 and authorized to run vocational qualifications by the Ministry of employment and vocational training and later in 2015, HIPDET received an authorization from the Ministry of Higher Education thereby authorizing it to create and extend it services to higher education. HIPDET is privately owned and governed by a board of trustees, which is assisted by an academic board and other offices of the institution.

The functions of the Chartered Institute of Finance and Management (CIFMA), are prescribed in HIPDET's Vision And Mission and Values:

Vision: In the next decade, HIPDET will play a leading role in transforming lives and communities and the economic prosperity of Cameroon by responding to learner and community needs through the use of partnerships, outreach and technology

 

Mission: HIPDET will foster the success of students, individuals and communities through innovation, flexible learning opportunities for people of all aspirations resulting in self-fulfillment and competitiveness in an increasingly global society.
